  • Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water even if you are not feeling thirsty. Sometimes, people tend to confuse thirst with hunger and end up consuming more calories than they need. Having enough water and fluids will help you remain hydrated and keep constipation at bay. Plus, you will also end up having glowing skin!

 

  • Pay attention to food labels: Whenever you are at the local grocery store, get into the habit of reading food labels. By reading the food labels, you can get information about the calorie content of the particular item and decide whether it fits into your daily weight loss plan. This way, you can choose healthier food options.

 

  • Consume high fibre food: Food that is high in fibre gives you a feeling of fullness. Fibre-rich foods are generally of plant origin and include fruits and vegetables, oats, brown rice, pasta, and whole wheat bread.

 

  • Maintain a food diary: Although it may appear complicated, keeping a food diary and tracking your daily calorie intake can help you cut back on the extras. Make a habit of writing down what you eat at each meal and tracking your calorie intake.
